"ELYSE FOX Meet Elyse Fox, Model—Mental Health Advocate—Mommy Of A Toddler—Someone Who’s Trying To Keep Her Vegan Diet In Tact. In 2016, she got honest about her depression and anxiety, sharing through a documentary about her life at the time that she was nowhere near as happy as she may have seemed. Her vulnerability was met in kind by thousands of young women who saw themselves in her story, and from there Sad Girls Club was born. The community she’s created is designed to destigmatize mental health, encourage conversation, provide support and help women, especially Black and brown women, feel less alone in their experiences. She’s an inspiring example of what it looks like to lift up those around you, and we’re beyond excited to introduce you to her here."

"Q & A With Elyse What are the first three things you do each morning? I chant, I do my skincare routine and then from there I give a bunch of kisses to my son. What podcast are you currently listening to? Morbid because I love true crime and I love murder mysteries. Top three artists on your Spotify right now? Drake, Ogi, Lil Durk Who/what was your biggest influence? My son, and outside of him I look to the members of my community. They’re taking the steps to be where I wanted to be at a younger age and I’m always inspired by Gen Z. What are three qualities you admire most in others? Vulnerability, honesty and timeliness What is your greatest strength? Remaining focused What are you most passionate about? Helping create the world I want to see in the future What’s one thing people may not know about you? I’m very much a homebody, I rarely go outside. What is your mantra or favorite quote? ""Never build a life that you need a vacation from. "" What has been a catalyst moment in your life and what impact did it have? When I decided to really develop a plan for my mental health and implement it. I was able to learn and understand a piece of myself that I never knew existed. What are you doing when you feel you’re making a difference? When I’m planning really thoughtful events for my community because it’s easy to just gather people but it’s another thing to curate conversations. What is the most important lesson you’ve learned thus far? I’ve learned that everyone has a story and a voice and no one's story is more important or less important than the next person’s. If you could go back and change one thing/moment in your life, what would it be? If I was the younger me, I would honestly speak up about what I was feeling as it relates to my mental health and tap in to find support Define your personal style in three words.
